I live 25 miles away from the Frog Capital of the World. It's true.
The Frog Festival begins August 23rd, so there is still time to make it this year! You'll know you've reached the right town for the Frog Festival when you see this guy tipping his hat to greet you.

What a cute frog. I've always wanted to visit Louisiana and look forward to seeing more of your photos..
Little known fact: Once (when I worked in Rayne and was pregnant with Butterfly) I was the frog in the parade. I was a very round frog!
hehe--there is a festival for everything in Louisiana. Years ago, I was first runner up in the Catfish Festival Queen pageant! ha.
