Ok, I was wrong. No drooling for donuts and coffee this morning....that's TOMORROW morning. I forgot to mention our visit to the St. Louis Cathedral, which is always an interesting place to stop by.
Despite the gift shop right outside the doors, there is a sense of reverence and quiet inside the church. I did check the signs to make sure I could take pictures inside the church!

Okay - so this wasn't a trick...sticking the beautiful church pics in before the sweet confections....just glad I didn't wake up at "5a.m." to get a front row seat! :-)
I never knew you could actually go inside the church. I have been to New Orleans countless times.. I am a Cajun girl after all. Can you believe I have never been in there. I have tons of pics of the outside and just never thought to go inside... What a dork I am..LOL
