The rain came. The wind came. The rain came some more. Then the "crack" noise came.
My house is there in the background. I am taking the picture in our neighbor's yard.
So the view out my back door has changed a bit.
We are just thankful it didn't hit the house!

Is this the pecan tree you wanted to cut down???
Well....yes. It is the tree we wanted to cut down anyhow, BUT we had been enjoying the shade it provides so decided to leave the whole of the tree and just trim the branches growing UNDER the carport and back porch.
Guess which branches are still left~ the one under the carport and on the back porch.
So we'll have to hire someone to come and pretty much take the rest of the tree down. It would look silly with one good branch on it growing out the side.
I know some World Changers who could handle that job ;)
