Does that mean that honey is extra cheap or expensive in LA?

I didn't even know Louisiana had honey. I mean...it makes sense that we would have some beehives and honey somewhere, but I haven't seen any honey for sale at roadside stands or anything? They save that for shrimp, sweet potatoes, and crawfish! :)

So the price of honey...same as anywhere else from what I can tell...

Have you seen the sign that says the first Tarzan movie was filmed here? It was in 1931, I think.

You can get honey at most of the chiropractor's offices...that's the good stuff. They sell it in the stores too! It's usually down the condiment aisle! It's funny, I just learned that about 3 weeks ago while I was teaching reading. Our reading story was about bees and they mentioned the states that the honeybee belonged to!

you can also buy honey at Oil Express! It's pretty good and from hives in Church Point
