A Louisiana Recipe

125 lbs of sausage
125 lbs of pork
125 lbs of rice
30 lbs of onions
Several canisters of Tony Chachere's
Various other spices in great quantities

Prepare and gather the ingredients over several days, have some big men who know how to cook up some fine food, and find the BIGGEST pot you've ever seen (well, that I've ever seen at least).

And they say things are bigger in Texas....phooey on that! Check out the size of that "pot"!


The result~ 400 servings of jambalya for our camp fundraiser at church!

And....the men actually made TWO of those pots full and had over 800 servings (big ones) of jambalya!

WOW! That's just incredible..... so did they make just enough or too much? Just curious.

It made MORE than enough. I think everyone at church was eating jambalya the next day as well!
