Champange's

No, no, no. Let me reassure my family~ we haven't moved over here, west of the Mississippi River and started drinking! : )

Champagne's is a store, not a liquor store, but a small local grocery store in this area.

It's not "sham pains", as in the drink.

It's "shawm pawns" (like shawl without the l but an m instead).

Does that make sense?!? You know, after living here this long...it does make sense. Somehow, it just sounds right when it rolls of the tongue...

It makes sense to me but not to people who don't live here, they still have a hankeren' for yellow rice!

Pronouncing "Champagne's" is easy enough: Just say "Champagne's" in French, and you've got it!
